Court Interpreters shall continually improve their skills and knowledge, and advance the profession through activities such as professional training and education, and interaction with colleagues and specialists in related fields. Our governing statute provides the requirement of 8 hours of continuing education per year to renew a court interpreting license.

Saturday October 9 of 2010, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Dallas area, venue TBA).
Guest speaker: the Hon. Lena Levario, presiding judge of the 204th District Court.
Registration fee is $195.00 for both courses. Special discount registration fee for TAJIT members is $160.00. If you are not a member and want to become a member, please visit www.tajit.org or sign up for this class paying both fees ($160.00 course registration + $35.00 TAJIT membership = $195.00). If you wish to attend one or the other, the registration fees are $50.00 for “The Interpreter’s Deontology” and $150.00 for “Eng > Spa Legalese: Criminal Homicide”.
