Court Interpreters shall continually improve their skills and knowledge, and advance the profession through activities such as professional training and education, and interaction with colleagues and specialists in related fields. Our governing statute provides the requirement of 8 hours of continuing education per year to renew a court interpreting license.
Continuing Education TDLR approved course for LCI #7762 will be presented in Humble, TX, on Saturday November 5th, 2011. The course, entitled “SPANISH-ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF EVIDENCE”, fulfills the 8-hour requirement to renew a Texas license for court interpretation (2-Hrs. Ethics, 1-Hr. Laws, 5-Hrs. Practice topics).
